"As The Field Grows Grass" is a piece I created from samples of Balinese gamelan. My piece, as well as the sampled gamelan pieces, were all new works commissioned by Western Front as part of a compilation album called Mepalu Sari [Essence of a Collision].
Below is a live improvised performance I did for New Forms Festival at Lobe Studios in August of 2020.
